Gina Rawlins is dealing with a cheating husband, a messy divorce, two unhappy children, and a floundering travel business when the very handsome new owner of the local B&B, Max Chaneau, enters her life. Not only does he make her heart pound, but it soon becomes clear that they need each other. Max needs to turn the B&B around and the first thing it needs is a woman's touch. And not just any woman. He offers to redesign her website for a bit of interior design help. As they work closely together, Gina realizes that her ex-husband wasn’t her only chance at love, even if Max has some scars of his own. However, when her ex (and all his baggage) abruptly reenters the picture, Gina’s love life is turned upside down, while her daughter and son are ecstatic to have their father home again. However Gina is left wondering what she should do? Be with the man she loves or take back the father of her children for the sake of her family?
After 14 years and two children to raise, Gina Rawlins finds herself being divorced by her cheating husband, Robert. While trying to cope with all this, she is also trying to keep her travel business afloat. Enters Max Broussard who is trying to keep his deceased wife's dream of opening a bread and breakfast. Both Gina and Max find they need one another's help while having an attraction for each other. Gina offers to help Max get his B&B together while he offers to set up her travel agency website. Things begin to heat up for the two from there.
Gina's children, Gabrielle and Ashton are wishing for their father's return, especially 13 year old Gabrielle who worked my one nerve throughout the book. When Robert has an accident and wants to come home to be cared for, all are faced with decisions, turmoil and truths that have to be dealt with.
It was good seeing characters from past stories in the series make an appearance as well. Francis has given us another good read worth waiting for and as with her many fans, I am waiting for more.

WONDERFUL BOOK!!!

As with the other books in her Invincible Woman Series, this book is awesome. Don't worry if you haven't read the other 4 books before this series because this book is good enough to stand alone.......BUT you really should read the other books as well. Ms. Ray has done it again and I can't wait to read book #6 in the series. Out all al the books I have read by this author, she has never let me down. Go out and pick it up......you will not be disappointed.

Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. This book continues the Invincible Women series and has 3 stories in 1. You will love the main character storyline, but the other story lines are just as good. You will also get to catch up with other characters from the previous books.

It is unfortunate that "And Mistress Makes 3", misses the mark. First off the title has nothing to do with the storyline and although characaters from previous books are included there is just way to much going on. This books is a HOT MESS and not typical of a Francis Ray creation. I am not sure what is going on with this author because she is still one of my favorites; so will the real Francis Ray please come back and soon.
My suggestion even though you did'nt ask me is to go the library and check out the book but: DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
