    light on content, poorly edited

A basic intro to the Android OS that offers little info beyond what Googling something like "Android basics" might tell you. The web results you found would also probably offer you reading where someone had taken the time to organize the information, edit for readability, and ensure that the text was written in a consistent voice. In short, save your $2.99.

    Weak

Reads like a hastily prepared high school homework assignment by someone for whom English is not a primary language (think about that Chingrish VCR manual that made you chuckle). No editing or proofreading seems to have been done. If you have a Nook, it's worth browsing in the store for free just for giggles.
