Alexandre Dumas, pere (1802–1870) was a French novelist. With very little education, he began his writing career as a playwright, first achieving success with Henri III and His Court in 1829. He became an enormously popular novelist with the Romantic novels The Three Musketeers (1844), The Count of Monte Cristo (1845-6), and The Black Tulip (1850).

    too many missing pages and garbled words

    I gave up on this book, whenever there was an interesting part, whole or part pages were missing, or words were so totally garbled it was totally not readable.

    I am very disappointed with the translation of this book. Is full of typos.
