Overview

While dogs get more credit, cats have perennially proven themselves to be every bit the equal of their canine brethren as humankind's best friend. Angel Cats, inspired by a contest authors Allen and Linda Anderson ran to find the "Best Angel Cat" story, shows the often extraordinary ways in which these fascinating creatures have responded to human need. Stories feature Paprika, the kitten that may have saved a little Hungarian girl from Russian soldiers; the cat who helped a woman make friends in a hostile workplace; the cats who acted as "pacemakers" for a sleeping woman with undiagnosed heart problems; and many more. Interwoven with the stories are brief meditations as well as fun facts about cats, such as that cats purr at the same frequency that increases bone density and strengthens and heals fractures. An "Ask Cuddles" section answers frequently asked questions about the fabulous feline.

    Charitykit, Faithkit, Lovekit , Hopeleap

A creamy beige colored she cat with a star of white on her chest pads in, three kits hanging from her mouth. She has sparkling green eyes. "Hi, I'm Hopeleap, and these are my kits, Charitykit, Faithkit, and Lovekit." She says, setting them down and gesturing to each of them. The first, Charitykit, had the same coat and eye color as her mom but her front left, back right, and ears where all a color closer to a dimmed white with another splosh of the same color aorund her right eye. The next, Lovekit, was all white with stunning aqua blue eyes, the last was Faithkit. She was a bright flaming orange tabby with beautiful pine green eyes and was also the runt of the pack.

    Spiritpaw

She pads in with some fresh moss and some mice. "Hello Cloudheart! I brought some mice and fresh bedding! But I need to go fetch some mouse bile for ticks!" She purred happily as she gave the elder a mouse and cleaned out the old bedding. She then paded out to dispose of the old bedding and to get the mouse bile for ticks.

She came back with some mouse bile and started to do ticks and then asks "Would you mind telling a story? Its okay if you dont want to." She then put some bile on a fat tick on the elders back and quickly picked it off and squished it to ensure its death.~Working, Spiritpaw
