Overview

Young women disappear with depressing regularity in the Southern city of Atlanta, Georgia. Unfortunately, no one really cares if they ever show up again. Private detective Bennett Cole knows this better than most. He's had his share of tough cases that didn't turn out so well, and he'd rather not take this latest one on. But when the friend of a missing young woman named Angel asks him to find her, Cole ignores his instincts and accepts the job. It's a case that will take Cole from Atlanta's seamy underbelly to the playgrounds of the rich and famous on the beaches of Florida. And in his search, he finds far more than he bargained for-violence, drugs, and Angel, a woman who is not at all what she seems. With the help of a beautiful massage therapist, Cole confronts unlikely suspects, encounters deceit in the wealthy enclaves of West Florida and Atlanta, and even stumbles upon a murder or two. As the mounting tension and danger nearly drag Cole to his knees, he realizes that his quest for the truth about Angel may send him straight to the depths of hell. Hard-hitting and action-packed, Angel, Falling will draw you into Cole's quest for the truth.

I would read this author again.

Free, 240 pages, pretty well edited, which is nice. A stand alone mystery but is part of a series. The author kept mentioning another case, his PI had solved in FLA. No sex, cursing or preaching, one rather tame murder, mild violence, the plot was rather shallow and a lot of the book was spent driving around. There needed to be less driving and more intrique. I have read a lot worse. I think this author has a lot of potential. I will read another book by this author. Genre, murder, mystery for ages 15 and up,

    Requirements of The Assassins

Scratched crudely on the tree trunk are symbols and picture that tell the rules of The Assassins.

Obey the leader or die! But you can suggest stuff! [Unintelligable]

You must have a mark. It is your signature and your diguise. Must look like a face somehow. For example, •_• would be a very generic mark, but it would work.

In your bio, do not put too much information. You are an assassin, no one needs to know anything about you than what your names is, rank, appearance, mark, and possible themsong! Do not put a history or anything like that.

    [Unintelligable]

If you want to become an elite assassin, you must be furtherly trained.

The leader is the only one who accepts new members. And who approves new ranks.

    Don't [Unintelligable] anything up!

All requests must be carried out. The job isn't done until it is done.

EVERYONE IS OR WILL BE AN ASSASSIN! And will be only applies to kits. So everyone.

If the leader is not on, the second in command takes his place completely. If the leader is there, second in command still has some authority, but not as much as he leader. The only thing the deputy can NEVER do is accept new members.

The leader can kick you out whenever he wants! This usually only applies to those who ruin the reputation of the organization, hurt someone within the clan out of selfishness, bla bla bla. If you piss him off he may just not like you, but depending on what you do, he/she can banhammer your ass from The Assassins.

This completely professional list must be followed at all times!

    A real page turner

This book had a well thought out story line with characters that came to life within its pages. The main character was no cimic book hero but was instead a calm, cool and collected guy that could handle himself in a rough situation. I could hardly put this book down and hope to read more by this author.
