    Great for Beginners!

The Angel Therapy Handbook by Doreen Virtue is definitely written for those who have little experience in the world of angels, clairvoyance, claircognizance, etc. A quick and easy read, the greatest "gold" I've taken from this book is that it has caused me to take pause throughout the day and connect (or reconnect) with my angels, guides, and God and remember to "Let Go, Let God." In other words, to give my load over to my spiritual guides and rest easy knowing that it is not all my burden alone, to carry. Ms. Virtue makes this easy, offering plenty of affirmations, meditations, and exercises.

Also, in reading this book, it became clear to me that there is still so much I don't understand about my own natural intuitive abilities. I am eager to read more of Ms. Virtue's work. (and she has a LOT!)

My favorite part of the book, by far, was Part III in which Ms. Virtue inspires the reader to discover her own life purpose and outlines action steps in order to achieve this purpose. Inspiring, compassionate, and sensitive, Part III is definitely written for those of us who believe that we are here on earth to guide others, to heal, and to love.

    Inspiring and Informational

I was recently given the opportunity to receive this book, Angel Therapy Handbook by Doreen Virtue from Hay House for the purpose of reviewing it. This book is a well written guide to educate and inform about the celestial helpers of God. Doreen Virtue begins the book about her spiritual journey of connecting and knowledge of Angels. She includes her understanding of the Angelic realm through personal experience and through what is written about them in the Bible, Quran, and several other sacred texts. Through out history and in varies religions it is agreed that angels are God's agents who are here to guard, heal and help us through our life journey and how we may ask and call upon their help for our every day life situations. Archangels are explained in length with in depth descriptions of their hierarchy, names, position, and their specific purpose for God's work. The second half of the book concentrates on how the reader may find their life purpose and inspires one to examine and sharpen their skills on a psychic level to become more aware and interact with angels. This was the first time I read a book by Doreen Virtue and I really enjoyed it. I loved learning about angels and understanding how they have interacted with humans through out history and how they still play such an intricate part of God's plan to continue to help us today. I was such a fan of this book that I purchased a copy for my daughter so she could have one for her own. I'm looking forward to reading more books by Doreen Virtue. As part of the FTC disclaimer rules I am making you aware that I received this book for free from Hay House Publishing for this review. The opinion in this review is unbiased and reflects my honest judgment of the book.

    Mistitarot Recommends!!!!

Recently I was blessed with the privilege to receive and asked to review, from Hay House, " The Angel Therapy Handbook" by Doreen Virtue. Having always viewed angels as our protectors I was very curious to see what more could be said. Years of strict religious thoughts and sermons on Angels invaded my thoughts, followed by guilt and worry when thinking differently about them. Thankfully, Doreen Virtue has considered this to be the normal thought of the average reader and addressed these and many other concerns in her book.
This truly is a "handbook" about Angels and how to ask and receive their blessings. Reading that they are here for us and that we really do have personal ones to guard us, guide us, and to call upon for different things, has enlightened me. She writes in length about the Arch angels , and easily explains the hierarchy of all Angels in such simple terms that anyone could understand. Doreen has a way of easing the dogma that various religions have taught us about Angels, and shows us how to ask and call upon them in daily life.
Miss Virtue also delves into becoming a Spiritual Teacher/Healer and clearly outlines ways to achieve and expand your own ideas of this type of calling. Whether you are already on this path or just wanting to expand your beliefs on this subject this book is sure to spark interesting thoughts that will open your eyes to a whole new realm of belief.

    The Angel Therapy.

I like Doreen very much same as her Angel Therapy method of healing, receiving the energy of higher frequencies of celestial bodies above us which is more powerful tool than classical ones used by most of people because light of this healing is based on speed of pure love and peace of mind which are much more faster than any vehicle in the present world. Finally, it works.

    Surprised and Delighted!

Having no experience with reading Doreen's books, I had no idea what I was in for. I liked the idea of a handbook, but hoped it wouldn't be too "mystical" where there wasn't anything concrete you could apply specifically to your life. The first half of the book focuses on introducing you to the Angels and Archangels which I have had minimal background in. Doreen brings clarity and understanding of how each Angel can help if asked, how to ask your angels for help and a simple guide to working with your angels! Also included are fascinating techniques on how to "cut cords," open your third eye and do your own Angel readings as well as finding out what type of clairvoyant you naturally are and how to open and access that channel. I have to admit, I skimmed over the chapter of how to get in touch with the deceased, but as she explains, we all have a direct line to do any type of reading we choose, without seeking an intuitive reader to do it for you!

The last section of the book is where I was surprised and delighted. Doreen takes you in the unexpected spiritual territory of making a business from your healing. As an entrepreneur, running my own business, she provided succinct business and marketing advice. Ideas on sharing your message through blogs, speeches and workshops, what does and does not work. She shares the how to's on writing your bio, becoming a professional speaker, giving teleclasses, ect...and after reading this chapter I was inspired to accept a request for a radio show invitation. As a teacher, speaker, mother, care taker, I was also reminded how important it is that I take care of myself as I travel through airports, keep up with a busy schedule and at times live out of my suitcase. Doreen advises, "Stamina comes from fueling your body right. That means all of the common sense principles that your guardian angels are likely talking about to you daily: getting enough sleep, detoxing, exercising, meditating and so forth." I may or may not ever do an Angel reading or become a professional medium, but I do feel more confidence in my ability to connect within, ask my guides and angels for help and use my clear knowing to listen. Many of the techniques she has outlined in the business section, I know work from previous application and if you're looking to make a business from your healing work, I would highly recommend her book.

***A special thanks for this free book to review from Hay House!!!

    Namaste,
    Sarah
