I purchased this book and four others for my granddaughter's Easter basket. She was thrilled with all of the books. They were the first things she told me about when I called her Easter morning. I purchased the beautiful hard cover anniversary edition of the original book and then added three other paper backs to fully engage her in the series. Angelina is a charming character to which my granddaughter immediately warmed. I would highly recommend this series in general and this book in particular to any pre-school to middle elementary aged girls. Probably ages four to nine or ten.
