The story idea had good potential but the book did not live up to its' potential. The first part of the book was enjoyable and I didn't want to put it down. However, the dialogue (especially Angelina's) became stilted and unnatural to a girl of her age. The story itself became disjointed and there were many places where connections to past events could not be made. Characters became less sympathetic as the book wore on. Disappointed by the lack of quality of the 2nd part of the book.

Decent story, good idea, average characters. Terrible ending, not enough explanation. Ending seems very rushedcompared to the rest of the story.

Compelling in places, disjointed in places, stilted in places, interesting premise marred by too many subplots. Thoroughly confused by the "metaphysics" explanations.

L.A.'s riots, Angelina's birth date, and cell phones don't jive. Cute but not very excitiing
