This book sparked my interest, finding out it was christian. It kinda surprised me. It's about guardian angels who try to protect their charges, but ended up having to rely on eachother and to trust God. The story was really nice, although there were unnessasary pictures of, well, body exposure that had nothing to do with the story. The author could very well have left that out, so I wouldn't recomend kids under seven leaf through it. Otherwise, it was a fantastic story on how we should ALWAYS trust God, even when we just don't seem to understand. Has 38 pages, though it ended at around page 25. Also quots Psalm 91.

The illustrations are among the best I have seen in a Nook book. I found the prequel to be quite confusing because of there were so many characters which made the story hard to follow. Although I am a Christian,I found the religious aspect of the book to be a bit extreme and also felt that it would frighten some children under age 8. I also read the excerpt and found it to be well written and clear and it did not have the confusion or extremity of the prequel. The three star rating is only for the prequel and the illustrations combined. I would give the excerpt 5 stars.

Angels All Around Milo Legett is a newly grafted angel, and he is excited about his new position. But when he talks to 7 year old Prissie Pomeroy, he almost wishes he still had his wings. Because little does the girl know, she is stuck in the middle of a huge battle, between Heaven’s warriors and the fallen. I love all of Christa Kinde’s stories, and this one is no exception. I especially love seeing Prissie when she was younger. This story takes place about 7 years before the Threshold series begins. I think it is written for all ages. ~Savannah P.

Angles all Around is a great story that shows you the beginning of the Threshold Series. Prissie is a young girl, but within time, she will soon discover that she has been granted to a privilege she couldn't have imagined. (This is a short story that is suppose to give you a glimpse of the series, so be prepared to go diving into the four book series!)  :)
