    Confusing....

The illustrations are among the best I have seen in a Nook book. I found the prequel to be quite confusing because of there were so many characters which made the story hard to follow. Although I am a Christian,I found the religious aspect of the book to be a bit extreme and also felt that it would frighten some children under age 8. I also read the excerpt and found it to be well written and clear and it did not have the confusion or extremity of the prequel. The three star rating is only for the prequel and the illustrations combined. I would give the excerpt 5 stars.

    Interesting short story

This book sparked my interest, finding out it was christian. It kinda surprised me. It's about guardian angels who try to protect their charges, but ended up having to rely on eachother and to trust God. The story was really nice, although there were unnessasary pictures of, well, body exposure that had nothing to do with the story. The author could very well have left that out, so I wouldn't recomend kids under seven leaf through it. Otherwise, it was a fantastic story on how we should ALWAYS trust God, even when we just don't seem to understand. Has 38 pages, though it ended at around page 25. Also quots Psalm 91.
