Meet the Author


Lisa Murray is a board-certified and registered art therapist with the Americna Tart Therapy Association. She received her training at Emporia State University and interned at the Menninger Foundation in Topeka, Kansas. She has worked with children in hospitals for more than twenty years. She lives in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Billy Howard is a commercial and documentary photographer with an emphasis on health, education, and social themes. He is the author of Epitaphs for the Living: Words and Images in the Time of AIDS and Portrait of Spirit: One Story at a Time, which features images and interviews of people with disabilities. He lives in Atlanta.
