Lurlene McDaniel is the only writer my daughter continues to read since the 8th grade, she is now 19 yrs. old, I purchased these books for her. She was so excited when she received them.McDaniel has a special gift of writing in order to keep my daughter to continue reading her books all these years, no other writer can do that.

I read this early in junior high, when I started reading her books. It was very eye-opening to learn about the Amish culture and how they live, and how one girl will change one family forever. Trials, romance and harsh reality really brings this triolgy the heartwarming and compelling sense of the show 'Touched by an Angel'. Purely unforgettable and sharing with friends.

I am reading the second book right now and I love the story. It has just the perfect mix of everything. I cannot wait to get the others books. I think it is something that everyone should read. It was just so so so great! And its real; something people can believe. I really love the relationships expressed in the book and the different lifestyles. So go on! Get the book!

This was the best book I have ever read. It is about a girl who falls in love with an Amish guy in the hospital where she is diagnosed with bone cancer. Both of the characters are believabe, and the romance between the two is amazing. I read the entire trilagy in a day because I just couldn't put it down. Leah and Ethan are a couple who belong in the same catagory as 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'Elizabeth Bennet and Mr.Darcy'

The angles series is by far the best series I have ever read! Amazing books that kept me attached from beginning to end. McDaniel knows how to pull her readers in with life stories about true love and sickness, two things that are very known in todays world. This series is definately her best!

I read my first Lurlene McDaniel book at age 11 and I'm now 25. I fell in love with her books when I read the Dawn Rochelle series. From then on I was hooked on her books and never looked back. I still have all of the books as I could never bear to part with them. I had read almost all of her books up until the last four or five years. I've now going back and reading her most recent releases as well. I still remember reading this series in middle school and falling in love with it. I was fascinated with the Amish, much like the main character Leah. Lurlene writes her stories as such that the reader feels like they are apart of the story. I couldn't pull myself away from it! I would recommend this series to anyone. All of her stories are wonderful and she is still one of my all-time favorite authors. My other standout favorites are the Dawn Rochelle series, Don't Die My Love, and Baby Alicia is Dying.
