    A wonderful story for everyone!

I met Steven at a book signing recently, and I must tell you, he is very charming. Although I am in my 30's, I decided to purchase Angus and the Hidden Fort just because he was so nice. I was going to give the book to my friend's 10 year old daughter who likes to read (Steven signed it to her) but thought I would read it first, just because the cover looked so interesting and Steven had told me a little about it. I couldn't put it down! I read the first 8 chapters until 2 in the morning and even took it to work to read at lunch. What a wonderful story! The detail is incredible, and I loved the way Steven wrote the ending. I've already started reading his second book. And yes, my friend's daughter did get the book and she is enjoying it very much. We have even discussed parts of the book over the phone. Why aren't these books more popular? Somebody is missing the boat! Steven is a very talented writer, and nice, too!

An amazing story... adventurous! mysterious! fun!

I bought this book for my 12-year-old son, who, by the way, doesn't like reading much. However, once he started reading about Angus and the 'cool' underground fort he discovers, well, he actually couldn't wait to get home from school to find out what happened next. Thank you, Steven! I highly recommend Angus and the Hidden Fort! I'm reading it now and I must say, it truly is a wonderful story. My son is now reading Steven's second book, Angus and the Mysterious House and enjoying it just as much as the first.

    Angus and the Hidden Fort

Angus is so cool and I like the way that him and Andrew are best friends. Me and my best friend build forts all the time and love to explore things just like Angus does. I've just started reading Mr. Corirossi's second book Angus and the Mysterious House and its just as good!!

    Angus and the Hidden Fort

We were given book two first and just finished book one. WOW. We reread book two again just for the fun and mystery. What a connection the story really flows together. Can't wait for book three.

    Angus and the Hidden Fort

Angus and the Hidden Fort is a very funny, mysterious, and exciting book. Although some words in this book I didn't know, by the time I was done with each chapter I had at least one word to add to my vocabulary list. I could read this book over and over and never get tired of reading it.

    Great book for all ages.

We loved the adventure. I have a 6, 9,and 12 year old that we read a chapter a night too. They can't wait until bedtime to find out what happens to Angus and Andrew. The ending is what really made my wife's and my curiousity take over to finish the book early.

    Incredible adventure!!!

Although this book is listed for ages 9-12, as a 31 year old, it brought back many fond memories of my own adventures in my youth growing up in Southern Wisconsin. I related to Angus as he explored the depths of a mysterious forest and researched the discovery of a hidden fort. His best friend Andrew reminded me of my best friend, Dave, and I even sent him a copy of the book. Angus is the ultimate adventurer. I couldn't put the book down!
