A favorite book of my children

My daughter was telling me that she went to school with her daughter to read "Little Black A Pony" when her daughter was in kindergarten. The teacher told her that the children loved it and that it was so nice to hear a story that boys could relate to also. So many are geared towards girls nowadays. That made me think about the books that my boys liked when they were young. Majorie Flack's Angus series were some of their favorite books that my sons liked and my daughter liked too. So I ordered "Angus Lost" for my granddaughter. It's an "old" book written in the '40s so it doesn't have the extravagent illustrations that we see today, but the stories of the little Scot terrier still are winning hearts as my granddaughter asked for more stories about Angus. I would recommend this book for all children--who doesn't like a story about a little dog.
