My 12 month old granddaughter has several books at my house and she always pulls this one out first to have it read to her. The realistic pictures must be what grabs her attention, as her other books all are cartoon like pictures. The story shows the baby animal with the Mommy. Very simple text makes it a quick read. Highly recommended!
