All Music Guide - David Jeffries
It's hard not to appreciate how Animal makes Ke$ha sound nothing like an industry vet who used to write for the Veronicas. Here she's a gum-snapping, alcohol-abusing Facebook jockey straight out of the suburbs, who spits sophomoric but fun putdowns, come-ons, and sig files all over electro beats. The music is heavy on gimmicks -- Auto-Tune, vocoders, and silly samples are all in abundance -- while able folks like Dr. Luke, plus Mim and Liv Nervo, are in charge of the colorful electro-pop productions. With so many fun, "TiK ToK"-type tracks, Animal is recommended for both brats and the bratty at heart.

The electro-upstart behind the hit "TiK ToK," is here to let the world know that loutish drunkenness and sexual harassment aren't just for fellas anymore.

makes you want to just lose control.

i love this album. It just makes you want to get up and dance. Her voice is semi-robotic in most of the songs but that doesn't mean that she can't sing. She reminds me of Lady Gaga but less eccentric. She has had to work her way up and life is just starting to work out for her. So she wants to part and celebrate. She just wants to live life and not have to care for the consequences. It's just a really feel good album.

    Ke$ha - ANIMAL?

This cd is REALLY good, especially for dance music (and I'm not just talking about clubs). I dance and her songs would be really good for jazz...oo0o0o really good for jazz dances. Anyway, her songs will cheer you up if you're having a stressed or generally bad day! I like soft, soulful, meaningful music like John Mayer and Racheal Yamagata and others no one knows about. I just like the good music from all genres and Kesha is definetly one of my favorites now in pop/hip hop and I'm picky with these types of music; I only like 2 songs from Cobra Starship, a few by Lady Gaga, and almost all from Kesha so she's really good and this cd is worth the price!??

    KE$HA Rocks! :-)

I heard the song by kesha called tik tok and I thought about getting her album when it came out, I thought tik tok would only be the only song that I liked on her cd but actually I like just about every song on here, Kesha has cool danceable songs on her album, I like the songs your love is my drug, tik tok, take it off, kiss n tell, stephen, blah blah blah, hungover, party at a rich dudes house, blind, dinosaur, dancing with tears in my eyes, boots and boys and animal. Kesha might talk in most of her songs but it sounds fun and robotic.
