Having 2 grandchildren, I buy many books. I have seen many books with animal and their sounds. This book, However, is the BEST one I have found. It is a sturdy book that young ones won't tear and older ones can help turn the pages. I purchased 3 copies of the book to keep to give for gifts.

My grandmother gave my daughter this book for her first birthday, twenty-eight years ago. She loved it. We read it over and over. She never got tired of making the animals sounds. I still have that copy. I remembered it when I was writing a lesson plan about Sounds for the 12-18 month-old children in the early childhood development classroom where I work. I bought a new copy for that classroom. They have enjoyed the book as much as I remember my daughter enjoying it.
