Overview

Not everyone needs to get dressed. A beloved favorite is now an eBook, with audio and new illustrations!

Animals should definitely not wear clothing….because a snake would lose it, a billy goat would eat it for lunch, and it would always be wet on a walrus! This popular book by Judi Barrett and Ron Barrett shows the very youngest why animals’ natural clothing is perfect just as it is.

Now with new illustrations that retain the charming quality of the originals but give this edition a fresh look, this beloved story is available as an engaging eBook with audio narration.

Pictures of animals wearing clothes show why this would be a ridiculous custom for them to adopt.

    this book is absolutely wonderful

I know this book says from 5 to 8, but my 4 year old got it for his 4th birthday and thinks it is hysterical. We especially like the picture of the hen!!! I think this is one to read to children of all ages. It is great for the kids and gives the parents a good laugh - very important in my book!

    Buy this book

I first discovered this book in 2nd grade in 1978 and would take it from the library continuously. I now make it a point to give it as a gift at any baby shower I attend so that it can be enjoyed by future generations.

    It's OK.

Funny book with few words. My daughter is 3.5 so it's not as funny to her as it is to me- more so silly. Very quick read.

    Friend

My friend read this in 1 min. Also $13.000!!!! That's pricy! Just look in the kid's section of your local library.
