This book is for version 5 and I just bought version 8. I'm disappointed that info wasn't given up front but, on the upside, the book looks like it has a lot of good information.

There were many technical errors, primarily with which keys to press to perform an operation. The files on the accompanying CD did not always match the illustrations in the book and in a few cases contained errors that caused them not to work. An experienced programmer could probably figure out what the right keys to press and could correct the CD errors. I would not recommend this for a beginner. The publisher and the author really dropped the ball on this one. Should have been better edited and proof read.
