    animal adventure and action

This tells how the African animals were imprisoned and taken to a cargo hold of a Spanish ship. The Spanish fleet left Africa and headed towards their colonies in the Americas. However, the trip is not so easy. It's a storm season.

What happens next, you have to read from the book...

The animals are the main characters in this story. The humans are described, too, but they are just shortly reviewed to give the background why the animals are imprisoned.

This story gives some historical facts about colonization, Spanish history in Europe and in the Americas, the sunken tresure ships.

If you are interested in reading a story of African animals, a storm, and a treasure fleet, then this is the right book for you.

    a great animal adventure

This was an interesting story. I like to read historical stories and animals and this combined both! The illustrations were great!
I think this book is good for ages 6-10, because it is not too difficult to read, and also it has lots of illustrations.
