Anna Doubles Down (Siren Publishing Menage Amour)by Missy Martine
[Menage Amour: Erotic Western Menage a Trois Romance, M/M/F, with M/M elements, time travel] Anna can't believe how much the woman in the picture looks like her. They could be twins, except the picture was taken in 1871. Either she's a relative, or Anna had a past life in Hamilton, Nevada. Either way, the temptation to visit the old ghost town is too much. She and her friend Kat travel west. While off exploring on her own, Anna is knocked unconscious when she falls down the steps in the saloon. She can hardly believe her eyes when she wakes. Beau and Zeke won the Silver Rush Saloon in a poker game and have been partners and secret lovers for over ten years. They don't know what to make of the woman they found half-dressed in their cellar. She claims to know something terrible that's about to happen to their town and needs their help. Will Anna be able to win their love and trust before it's too late? ** A Siren Erotic Romance

Anna goes on vacation to a ghost town with her friend Kat. Drawn to the saloon she falls into a hole that brings her to the 1870's Wild West. Here she meets Beau and Zeke who have trouble at first believing she comes from the future. She has to convince them of her honesty and do what she has been sent to do. I liked Anna. Thrust back in time she makes the best of the situation without her modern conveniences. Attracted to Beau and Zeke she partners with them both to create a strong unified trio. As they keep reminding her, things are different in their world but she also shows them that attitudes and acceptance changed in her world. I loved that Beau and Zeke accepted her. Humor crops up as Anna uses modern sayings and the men are confused by it. I enjoyed her feistiness and their need to protect her as their woman. I also liked that she worked to fit into their world although she kept looking for her modern conveniences and tastes. At times I had trouble figuring out who was doing what to whom during the love scenes and would have to re-read passages. On the whole though I liked the loves scenes whether they were ménage or one-on-one. I look forward to reading the other books of this trilogy.
I thought this story was a lot of fun and it worked out really well as far as the characters being believable. They were wary of each other but they also didn't hide who there were from each other. Really loved the surprise ending and really hope we get to read Kat's story soon.
