Overview

The Anointed seem to be hoping for crossover appeal on this self-titled effort, which finds them working with pop/R&B producers like Tony Rich (who has worked with Toni Braxton and Michael Bolton, among others) and Keith Crouch (Brandy, Boyz II Men). The trio's overall sound may not separate them from the urban R&B pack, but their harmonies are certainly polished and inspiring. ~ Steve Huey
