The core of the Ford Blues Band is a quartet featuring drummer/singer Patrick Ford Robben's brother, guitarist/singer Volker Strifler, bassist Dewayne Pate, and harpist/vocalist Andy Just. For this project, a horn section and keyboards are added with one appearance apiece by Mark and Gabriel Ford. The music is always blues-based even when it is soul, R&B-ish, an easy-to-take lecture on the blues "One Man's Opinion", and one song reminiscent of retro-swing.
