I bought this book because my son loves Elmo, and he loves this book too. So I would recommend it for all Elmo lovers. It seemed like a less inventive version of it's predecessor 'The Monster at the end of this Book', but that only had Grover in it. The one thing I liked about this book, that was better than the earlier book, was that there was more interactivity. This book has Elmo requesting the child to turn the page and otherwise directly engages the child. This is a decent book, just not fantastic. It's pretty good for the price. If my child was asking for it, and he was, I would still not deny him.

I read this to my children, and had to get it for my grandchild. She loves it. When she "reads" it she has growly jibberish for Grover, and yells the parts that are in ALL CAPS.If you like to read in different voices, I think you will enjoy this book.

This is an awesome book. I must read this about a hundred times a day. My child still gets excited when I bring the book out.

I've looked in stores and I haven't been able to find this book anywhere. It was one of my favorites as a child. I don't know where my old copy is hiding. I'm so happy I'll be able to read it to my son now.

This book is great for little kids... expeshaly if you make voices for the two charactors and then let the kids get involved at the end of the book... they just love it!!!
