Another Side of Bob Dylan

This has an equal number of classics to its predecessor, actually, with "All I Really Want to Do," "Chimes of Freedom," "My Back Pages," "I Don't' Believe You," and "It Ain't Me Babe" standing among his standards, but the key to...

Both the lyrics and music have gotten deeper and Dylan's trying more things -- this, in its construction and attitude, is hardly strictly folk, as it encompasses far more than that. The result is one of his very best records, a lovely intimate affair.

    I Also Recommend:

    Aptly named album

This is an aptly named album as after "Times" this is a very different album and yet just as powerful if more personal than political. Another in that line of perfect albums Dylan did in the sixties.

    Best Dylan album

If you want to feel Bobby's soul, then this is the album to buy. It is one of two solo albums and it is truely beautifully written and passionately sung. To not be touched by this album is truely a major loss. For new Dylan listeners, this album should be one of your firsts. It displays his artistic ability as a songwriter, a storyteller, and an artist with brilliance!
