    Not too shabby

Here's a new one:a Christian cozy mystery. And a fairly good one to boot! I could've sworn the two were polar opposites, but Bailey is an amazing protaganist. My only problem us that the epilogue felt forced and I would love to have seen the book pre-edit because a few if the characters seem out of place

If you love cozies you'll love "Another Stab at Life"

Baily has been left a scary, run-down, three-story house by her grandmother
Minna. Baily discovers there are several mysteries the house holds and her grandmother has left her some hints to solve them. Although there is not a classic "murder" is this book there is enough mystery to keep you turning the pages. Be looking for this one to come out on e-book.

Mystery with enough humor to make it a very enjoyable read

Bailey, the heroine, is down on her luck and lands in a run down mansion. Her grandmother has left it to her and at first you have to wonder about a grandmother who would do that??? The romance lightens the mystery and the mystery is cleverly thought through and brought out. You keep wondering who the good guys and the bad guys are. An enjoyable read. Ms Higman follows this with Another Hour to Kill in the ongoing story of our heroine.

Enjoyed reading this book by Anita Higman. A light mystery, but

    Very disappointed

Touted as a mystery, the "mystery" was sorely lacking. Definitely a romance and a sappy one at that. There was too much emphasis on the romance, the mystery seemed to be an afterthought with everything neatly tied up in the last few pages, which after reading you scratch your head and say "What??? Where did that antagonist come from anyway?"
