The story is very good, however, there was way too much unnecessary repetitive detail about the characters and their thoughts and physical condition, which only served to add pages and get in the way of the story. Liked the other books but I have to say, I was disappointed by this one.

I'm loving these books! I had a little trouble keeping all the characters straight. Wished for a little guide to who's who, but all came clear after I read the Timeless Trilogy.read them first then be sure to read the others in order. I was a bit backward, but now that I have everyone straight I think I'll reread some. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Great story and i love all the characters. Its a nail biting suspensful catching story. I only have one problem with the book, the spacing between scenes is confusing and there are a lot of errors that could be easily fixed with one lasr sweep. The layout needs work but its a great read it could be better though. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Anson by Tallulah Grace
As has been the case with Momma Says Read I’ve had my horizons opened up reading outside of my typical genre. I was very surprised at how much I apparently enjoy Psychological Thrillers or at least this one! Anson by Tallulah Grace is quite the nail biter.
Anson is the follow up to the Bayou Butcher, which I have not read – YET. Grace does a great job of making this book stand on its own. I didn’t feel like I was lacking any particular knowledge not having read the first in the series. However, I do know that I am interested in reading the first story as well, but not for insight on the second book, but because I believe the story will be entertaining.
There were a few pacing issues here and there, which is a good thing because otherwise the kids may have gone hungry the day I was reading it. I look at them as “commercial breaks”. The majority of the book was a “can’t put it down” kind of ride. And while I was reading the book outside at night on the deck, I did find myself being creeped out just a bit – it’s scary. Not “Jason” scary, but “oh my goodness this could actually happen” scary.
If thrillers and suspense are your thing, I recommend you read it. It is well written and riveting.
