Antenna is an array of conductors. It is the interface between radio waves which propagate through electric and space currents in metal conductors. They are required by transmitters and radio receivers to combine its electrical connection to electromagnetic field. Radio waves are electromagnetic waves. They carry signals at the speed of light through air without any transmission loss. They can be classified by operating principles or applications.
