Anthology Of Humor: I am Poetryby Various Poets, Bernard Harold Curgenven
- LendMe LendMe™ Learn More
Yes the book title gave it away! As you have gathered, this anthology is of humor, however, the humor ranges from light to deep humor. Rest assured, there is something for everyone who enjoys the occasional chuckle or smile. Unlike the previous group anthologies, we introduce images from a brilliant photographer. The very first poem, by Danie Lombard, gradually introduces the peaceful mood with Danie's poem and picture combination. The weird, but humorous poetry of the author and editor, Bernard Harold Curgenven, is once again tossed at the reader, before there is any possibility of it cooling down, knocking them off their feet. Now, that's better. There is a better view from ground level, meaning that the readers must look up to the selection of brilliant poets, from the group 'I am Poetry'! Try not to giggle now, for you may miss much with your tear filled eyes!
There is no particular theme to this book, however the carefully selected orange setting certainly eases the mood. We don't want anyone reading this when in a bad mood, as the poets do not intend to offend!
You will find mockery of fat people, by fat people, and mockery of women by women.
You will find legendary poets here, such as the creator of 'Poems by Papyrous', and brilliantly talented young poets like 'Mac Adrone Adonay'. Do you think rap artists are illiterate? Think again! Many rap artists are great poets, and you will find their work right here, thus we introduce 'Zo' and 'Raynel'. Don't miss out on their poems, for you will regret! You will find incredible poetry by famous Authors, such as Patrick Royal. Here you will see that Patrick's talent is not limited to horror only!
The English language never is boring, as we will prove to you.
'Honey', by Tom Higgins is an example of light humor. What would you dream of, given this theme? The concluding sentence will prove you wrong!
Who ate all the pies? Well, only Tom can tell you. You may speculate, but won't be certain, until you are saturated with laughter!
Have you ever slid down a rainbow? Not Like David Hall though!
Are you aware that poetry has a phantom? Well we introduce this phantom writer, with two incredible poems!
As for Liza Roux: What went pop? Was it her leg, or a cork screw? Bloody hilarious!
What, you may ask, does Olusegun write about his Goddess? Is he sure to annoy, or impress!?
Oliver Klauss admits to being clumsy! How clumsy can one possibly be?
'Shiver Ye Timber' you certainly will, when i cut off your 'limber'. A funny, but serious warning!
But let's not let the cat out of the bag, as we may be facing a slightly pissed hag! Lol
Do Enjoy this book, and show your gratitude toward the writers!
