Overview

Contending that the anti-feminist backlash in the academy is part of the broader "politically correct" rhetoric, this collection of writers, academics and activists is a much-needed response to the assault on feminist thinkers and critics in the academy today.

    I'm A Werewolf Chapter One

    Chapter One-
I wake up in my bed, my alarm blaring and beeping loudly. I groan and roll over, slamming my hand down on the snooze button and cutting off the annoying sounds eminating from the clock. Rolling out of bed I perk up, realizing that today is the day I'm going to the Taylor Academy, an Academy for Werewolves. I stumble over to my dresser and quickly get dressed in a pair of black cargo capris and a gray tiger tank top. Yawning, I slip on a pair of Converses and hurry down the stairs to meet up with my parents. They're sending me off at the airport. I hope I like the Academy. I walk unto the kitchen and freeze as I see no mom and dad and only a note on the fridge. I walk slowly to the note and pick it up, reading it.

    It reads:

We're so sorry Hex but we won't be able to see you off to the Taylor Academy. We swear you'll like it but we have a major problem with the Werewolf Council. We hope you have a great time and we're sorry.

I sigh and leave the kitchen, heading back up to my bedroom, stomping up the stairs, upset now. *I guess I'm doing this alone* I think, growling low in my throat.
