It actually Worked! This is the first and only time I've ever gotten a 'screen' protector to line up correctly and stick without having a mass amount of bubbles or having dust particles trapped underneath. It could have been luck, but the ease of application and the adherence seem like the winners to me. Works great to resist finger prints, especially if you share with your little ones! Since putting it on it hasn't budged or shown any signs of wanting to peel up.

I used my HD+ without a screen protector for a couple weeks before applying this screen protector because with my Nook 1st Edition and all my mobile phones, putting those protectors on has never been worth the aggravation of trying to unsuccessfully remove all the air bubbles or mysterious pieces of fuzz that seem to appear out of nowhere. This screen protector applied relatively easily and works beautifully. It appears thicker than other screen protectors I've used for various electronic devices in the past(?). In fact now that I have it on my HD+, I find turning pages and scrolling works BETTER with the screen protector than it did without. I was actually a little disappointed that my Nook HD+ wasn't as responsive to my finger swipes as the model in the store -- that's no longer the situation.

I'm not wild about these.  I didn;t have any trouble applying the film -- I got it on without a problem, no dust or bubbles.  My complaints are: 1) two pieces of film for $20 is outrageous, and 2) when it's on, the screen of the HD -- which looks fantastic without film -- appears with tiny speckles all over it from the non-glare film. It drives me nuts when I'm reading books on it. If I didn't have kids playing with my NOOK, and if it didn't cost $20 for two more lousy pieces of film, I'd switch to the clear film in a heartbeat.  I don't really like it.

The anti-glare protector does reduce glare when reading but it also reduces the vibrancy of the color display some. Effective installation is dependent on having a scrupulously clean area in which to applly the protector. Vacuuming up all stray particles of dust on the work surface and from the Nook help a lot. There is a light adhesisve on the back surface of the screen protector so lifting it and reapplying increases the chance of getting dust and lint under the protector. The package comes with two protectors. It took me one trial to discover the best way to apply and the second protector to get it right. Bubbles smooth out easily using the microfibre cloth that comes with the Nook.

The secret is to use a credit card to smooth out the film, start at the top and work your way down a little at a time.

I was a little nervous about installing this after reading some of the reviews. I followed the directions exactly and it looks perfect - NO bubbles at all. The biggest thing is to have the screen perfectly clean before you apply the film. Looks great! The easiest screen protector I've ever used.

I purchased this but kept getting bubbles. I finally had to get a new one and have someone at the store apply for me. Otherwise it works great.

This may reduce the glare but it takes away from the high definition screen, too much so for my taste. I had to go with the clear screen protector and I think it's perfect, now my picture looks like high definition again.

Hated putting these things on, first it was awkward because of exact length they made them; you have zero room for a mistake. Then trying to put them on without getting lint or bubbles was damn near impossible. It took a two man team for us to put this thing on properly.

Tried to purchase this some months ago and I don't know if they were out of stock or what, but was pleased yesterday to find they were listed online. Reserved it online and went right over to my local store and picked it up. I had tried another screen protector that included three with each purchase. Used up all three and every one of them was nothing but a bunch of bubbles no matter how much I followed the instruction. With this one from Barnes and Nobles, it went on perfectly on the first try which is the exact way it did when I first purchased one about three years ago. This one was a replacement for the old one from Barnes and Nobles because I dropped my Nook and dinged the screen petty good, but it did its job and my screen was not damaged. I don't know who the manufacturer is, but based on my personal experience, this was worth every penny.

Did not like this at all. The "matte" dulled the screen and made it look like it had a lousy screen resolution. Wanted to return it and store wouldn't let me. I will look online for clear screen films for cheaper.

I have changed countless screen protectors on my cell phones past and present and never had as much difficulty as it did tonight with the screen protector I purchased for my Nook HD+. It was a complete waste of money. No matter how free of  dust and clean the screen was these protectors continued to bubble and would not wipe out to the sides. A half hour later and frustrated I finally tossed the protectors in the trash. They also were not well designed.  They had protection film on only one side. The protectors I purchased for my phone have a protection film on both sides where you peel off one side, apply to the phone, then use a small piece of cardboard that comes with it to smooth out the bubbles and then remove the film covering the top of the protector. The way this one is used is useless.

This was the easiest screen protector that I have ever used. The instructions were very clear. I like how I didn't have to use anything hard to get the bubbles out. I now have zero bubbles on my screen!

I really like this anti-glare cover. I've had to check to remind myself that the screen is covered. The B&N person put it on for me. I figured she'd done a ton and if she screwed it up....I do think $23 for a couple of pieces of plastic is a bit much but I had scratched the screen on my old "Lie-Pad" (Pandigital Novel), that I sprung for it.

I want to know where people are going that is "dust-free" to put their film on, because I ruined both of mine trying! First I used a lens cleaner; then the cloth; and when I finally had the film on it had dust bubbles. There's no real way to clean the adhesive side so I tried the next one and ruined that one too. The second ding is on B&N: The day after I ordered this product it dropped from $22 to $15! There are other films that don't have an adhesive and are easier to put on and take off/clean. I'll be going to the competitor for that one.

I've had this since I bought the NOOk color in July 2011, and it's still in perfect condition. And our NOOK is used mostly by my 9 yr old to read books. The 3 yr old has been using alot too to play games, so this gem is getting alot of abuse. So far, it's been holding up great. I almost bought one of the cheap ones, but decided to try these. I'm glad I bought thses intstead.

Horrible. I could not get it on without it bubbling.anti glare did not help at all.and itdid stop the dust or fingure prints!

Too aggravating to palce the film on properly. I tried both covers that came in the package and each time I had bubbles. They were small bubbles, but still distracting and not what I want on a new device that I use everyday. Also, I didn't really like the clarity of the screen with the film on. It looks much better without the film.

Ok so much for installing it! My ? is did it help with glare reading & watching videos outside?

It must have attracted lint from two states over, since I had taken care to make sure there was NO lint anywhere. Both were unusable as a result, since there is no way to get the lint off. Threw them away.

After using both of the included anti-glare screens on my Nook Color tablet (last year) because it's almost impossible to keep it clean enough to avoid bubbles/lint, I got a new tablet HD+ and used both screens again, and still can't get the bubbles out. It uses static cling to work, so what else does static work well with? Dirt & lint!
