Great Travel Guide

I visited Antigua with my family and purchased several books to help us enjoy the island. This one was by far the best as it offered a lot of information not found in the other books. I especially like all the interesting facts the author includes, like on the history and culture of the country. Nice compact size and reads easily.

    Christine Williams

This book is very enjoyable to read. It has lots of information about the island including it's history and local stories and is an excellent reference guide. I would recommend it to all first time visitors to the island to help them explore and enjoy Antigua.

The Best Guidebook for Antigua and Barbuda

There are several guidebooks for Antigua and Barbuda but they all seem to have been written by professional writers who have not spent any significant amount of time on the island. I found this book, however, to be very insightful and it approached the island from a more local perspective. Since it was written by a resident of Antigua, it gives a lot more local advice and practical information. Plus, we found a lot of hidden beaches, restaurants and places to visit that were not mentioned in other guides.

I will definitely be using it again on our next trip.
