Each page of large print, low reading level text is accompanied by a full-page photograph, often taken from extremely close up, of ants in action. The text is interesting and informative, and some of it will probably surprise and amaze (if not horrify) readers. Imagine ants that collect and retain nectar in their stomachs to feed their colonies, swelling up to resemble ant-headed balloons!
