This book provides insite from the FIRST page of the introduction to the last page of the last chapter. Before picking up this book i questioned my sanity. Before finishing the first chapter I discovered more about myself and my anxiety issues. A MUST read if you want to move behyond your anxiety and back to a 'normal' life.
This book has helped me greatly. It teaches you not only the logic of getting better, but it teaches you HOW with excersizes, practice sheets and assignments that we can do at our own pace and comfort levels. I have gone from being uncomfortable a few feet away from the door at a store to being able to melt away my anxiety in the middle of a crowded hall where I'm the center of attention. I'm not 100% better yet, but I couldn't have gone as far as I have without the help of this book. Please check it out!
My therapist suggested this book and I find that i carry it around with me. I find I read through certain suggestion over and over. It's a great book for any one suffering from panic disorder or high anxiety. There is also many other book/tape suggestions throughout the workbook for specific areas that you may need to work on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !!!!
This book helped me more than all the doctors I went to see. I found out more about what was wrong with me than what the doctors had told me. If any one in your family or you are having problems read this book. If any thing it will help you understand more about your problems and that you are not alone.
