Meet the Author

Kelly Wibbenmeyer is a successful business woman and has held multiple life fulfilling careers. Fresh out of high school, with two jobs already behind her belt, she joined the US Air Force where she was a financial manager for four years. After her stint in the military and upon completion of her bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Kelly joined a small custom software firm as a Quality Engineer. She traveled around the United States and while acquiring frequent flyer miles, acted as a project manager, quality assurance tester, developer, trainer, and any other role she was needed, including hiring temporary and permanent help to assist in her daily activities.
After a few years in the custom software business, Kelly wanted to join the healthcare industry to assist those who needed the most help in the world, children. Kelly took on two positions at the local Children's hospital in management roles, where she reinvented what it meant to be a stellar employee and trained her employees to not only be accountable for their actions but to take ownership in their processes, which lead to reduced errors and happier employees and customers. During this time, Kelly also achieved her MBA.

After working at a children's hospital, Kelly decided to have some children of her own and then ended up moving closer to family which meant taking yet another position. Kelly worked for another healthcare organization and in two years held two separate positions, a director of registration and a SAP HR/ Payroll manager, where she hired over fifty people in one year's time and again increased employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction over 80% in one year. During this time,Kelly interviewed over 1000 candidates, some being candidates she'll never forget!
Kelly then moved on to a local power company where she works as a Business Consultant.
She has over thirteen years of experience in interviewing, resume writing techniques, and has hired over 100 people. She is a valuable resource in resume writing and has assisted over five hundred people in resume writing techniques. As a certified project manager, she has managed multiple projects both short term and long term and has hired both temporary and permanent help and has a keen sense on what traits employers are looking for in employees. She has published an article with the St. Louis PMI chapter and has her PMI certification.

A wonderful journey which ends up in success!

This book details the ins and outs of finding the perfect job by starting with the basics and asking, "What do you want to do?" The author then tells you how to get there through a series of questions and by example, she gives accounts of what to do and what not to do, in regards to resume writing, interviewing, and the dreadful call back.

Very informative and kept me interested from the first page to the last. This book is also a sheer success, I got a job after reading and so did my husband! We are both willfully employed thanks to this book!

Gift for unemployed brother...with high hopes

I have purchased this book to send to my brother in South Florida. He has struggled for years to find an employer that meets with his high expectations. He is an extremely smart, articulate man in his mid-forties, and also has wonderful email skills, so I have been stumped as to why he has not been able to find an acceptable postion with a good stable company. By the other review, I feel that by him reading this book, if he can not find a great job after putting the informantion and skills in it to good use, then it surely must be of his own will that he isn't willing to do all he can to help his situation. My hope is that the wonderful information in this book will boost and aid him into finding any decent paying job so that he can begin his life anew, paying back all those he owes, both financially and through their support of him-like his poor wife who has stood by him. Thanks to Kelly, who wrote it, on giving me hope that a successful job is just around the corner for my brother!
