Meet the Author

Golden Heart Award-winning author Jamie Sobrato fell in love with the romance genre at an early age, when she used to sneak her mother's romance novels off the shelves to read during summer vacations. She'd decided by the time she was in the seventh grade that she wanted to be a writer, but in spite of those early ambitions, she pursued a career teaching high school English before she turned to writing.

It quickly became clear to Jamie that she wasn't cut out for teaching high school, so with much support and encouragement from her husband, she began writing her first romance novel. After five years and more than a few rejection letters, she made her first sales to the Harlequin Temptation and Harlequin Blaze lines, fulfilling her lifelong dream. Jamie now spends her days writing fun, sexy romances, and she can't imagine a better job in the world.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Jamie is married to her own hunky romance hero, and they are the exhausted parents of two young children. They live wherever her husband's army career takes them, currently calling the Southern California desert their home.

On the rare occasions when she's not writing or chasing a toddler, Jamie enjoys reading, bargain shopping, eating chocolate and going jogging to burn off chocolate calories.

    Awesome

    ## Fantastic read. I enjoyed this very much. Both hero and heroine were likeable which is rare in my opinion. Their characters had depth and plenty of chemistry. The sex scenes were steamy and well written as well. Do I think the heroine forgave way too easily for all the deception? Hell, yes. But still a sexy book that I definitely will be reading again.

    tight romantic suspense

As a troubled youth who did whatever her heart desired, she caused mountains of problems for herself so Yasmine Talbot has vowed to ignore her deep needs and behave herself. What helps is that she enjoys her work as a programmer for the Virtualactive software company based in San Francisco that peddles sex. --- Former FBI Agent Alex DiCarlo joins the firm as its newest employee using the alias Kyle Kramer. He wants to know why he lost his Fed job and believes Yasmine is the link. However, he quickly realizes that he also wants to be under the cover investigating all of Yasmine. He also hides from her that he investigated her years ago when she was a teen and has since obsessed over having her though he has done nothing about this except fantasize about her until this assignment. Now after the sexiest most wonderfully sinful weekend of his life, he wants more but also knows someone else is after Yasmine who he will keep safe at all costs, but once that is over wonders how his beloved will react when he tells her about the truth about himself. --- ANY WAY YOU WANT ME is a tight romantic suspense in which Alex needs to keep the woman he loves safe at all costs, but worries that he has no future once he tells her who he is and how their paths cross. He is an interesting lead male as in some ways his ¿fixation¿ makes him seem like a stalker, but his morals kept him from crossing the line though the nuance is micro but critical. Yasmine shows how important discipline is to overcome one¿s past, but her iron will collapses when Alex joins the firm. Jamie Sobrato provides a taut thriller with a deep relationship subplot to enhance the tale. --- Harriet Klausner
