Anything, Anywhere, Anytime: Tactical Airlift in the US Army Air Forces and US Air Force from World War II to Vietnamby Sam McGowan
Anything, Anywhere, Anytime is the story of the US Army Air Forces and US Air Force tactical airlift mission, formerly known as troop carrier, from World War II through Vietnam. Although it has been a combat mission since it was first conceived, and a heroic one at that, it is the most neglected of all military combat missions. This is the tac airlift story from start to finish. The third edition is in a large format with pictures.
