NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR, ELLE CASEY, brings readers Book 4, the final installment in the YA Dystopian APOCALYPSIS Series, suitable for older teens and adults.
HAVEN. My name's Bryn Mathis. I'm seventeen years old, and I'm alive at a critical time in our world's history, unlike all the adults and babies who didn't survive the virus that almost wiped out the human race. Alliances are building, enemies are gathering, and everything's about to reach the boiling point. I'm in a race against time to get Haven ready for the final showdown, a confrontation that could very possibly destroy everything my friends and I have worked so hard to create. People I trusted have betrayed me. People who I thought were my enemies are not. Nothing is as it seems, and nothing will ever be the same for me, now that I've embarked on this one last adventure that could be the undoing of everything that is me.
Content Warning: Mild violence and some foul language. Meant for older Young Adult readers (age 15+). This book is in the Dark Science Fiction / Horror / Post-Apocalyptic genres, featuring teen characters only.

Great series.. Reading it for the 2nd time
Generally interesting reading. Little odd things are just out of place. But the ending was different than expected. Put light on social stigmas that exist but has had different affects over the ages and over cultural differences.
As with all futuristic books this one had my attention from book one. It all starts with a young girl and she must face the reality of losing her dad and then starting her life in the real world as it is now. (book one) I couldn't wait to get home and start reading I thought about this book when I wasn't reading it. I think Elle Casey has has that ability to connect with the reader and keep us guessing. Bryn and Bodo are our main hero's they are the main romantic relationship but as with all young romance comes heartache. They are to young to know what the heart really wants. The world is at its worst you have kids eating kids and Bryn doesn't understand why they they do this why they don't just do as she and her group and other groups like hers are doing. Learning to farm the lands like they did before there were grocery stores. Learn to live off the land. I loved this series and anyone looking for a great read this is the one that will keep you going back to find out what happens with Bryn and Bodo and the rest of the kids.
I just finished reading all four books in this series. The characters are well flushed, the story never lags, the pictures, sounds and smells you painted in my mind are still vivid. These books are exactly the genre I love to read for entertainment, and l'm an old lady of 60. Keep up the great work.
I just finished Haven the final book of Apocalypsis and I'm very sad to see it end. I had to wait a few minutes to dry my eyes before posting. I'm just glad nobody was here to see me, they'd think I'm crazy, crying one minute then smiling like a lunatic the next. The book literally ended perfectly. There are a few things I'd like to know but that's part of the magic of books, I can make up my own stories in my head and daydream about all the characters I've grown to love over the course of this series. These characters became my friends and family while I read about their trials and tribulations. I laughed beside them, cried with them and felt fear when they did. Elle Casey is a masterful storyteller who has a unique voice all her own in the literary world. I've never been sucked so completely into a story as the way I am when reading her books. There's just something very refreshing about the way she writes. Her characters are vivid and three dimensional and I can totally relate to them. I love how there's never a dull moment even if her characters are doing something dull or mundane such as sharing a meal or going swimming. She somehow makes each and every page an exciting page turner. There are never any chapters or pages that you want to just hurry up and get through so you can get back to the good part. Every single page is the good part. Bryn is just totally awesome and she turned into the person I suspected she would be. She totally rocks and is the glue that holds everyone together. She is strong and a natural leader and I really enjoyed reading from her perspective. I'm really happy how most of the things turned out. Obviously it's a dangerous world and bad things do happen. I admit I was pretty shocked at a few events and actually cried at several points which is no small thing for me. I'm not very easy to make cry at all. I'm very happy how everything ended and who all everyone ended up with. I truly hope one day maybe Mrs. Casey will revisit this extraordinary world and that we can all read more adventures in this world even if it's from a different character or a different group of characters points of view. If not then I'll still have this great series to read again along with new ones. I'd really like to know what happened to one character so if you ever feel like coming back to Apocalypsis you can count on me for the journey. I also think this series would make a awesome movie(s) and or TV Mini Series. Thank you for this incredible series. Words cannot express how much I enjoyed it.
This was a truly satisfying read from beginning to end! I couldn't stop reading this series, plowing through the last three books this weekend. Loved the kick ass heroine, the adorable sidekick and even the love triangle although it did get just a tiny bit too much towards the end. The bad guys were truly horrendous. But the ending... What an ending!?! Very enjoyable read and I'm sorry to see it end. Well done, Ms. Casey!
Apocalyptic books are by far my favorite. I have read dozens and dozens over my 70 years. This series beats any other I have ever read. When I see some of the others that are out there, such as 5th Wave, I wonder why this series isn't right up at the top of the best selling list. Must be the fact that the author can't afford the advertising because that is all that is keeping it from being on the best seller list. Loved, loved, loved the series and hated to see it come to an end.
