Excellent - when they stick to the soundtrack

I have been a fan of movie soundtracks for over 40 years and this is quite simply one of the most inspiring soundtracks ever made. The "Launch" cut still send shivers up my spine - it sound like a hymn (I mean that as a compliment) and not far behind is the landing and "final credits" cut. The true test of a sound track is the ability to listen to it over and over and stil enjoy it nearly as much as the first time. My ONLY criticism is the "padding" of the soundtrack with old 1960s hits, evidently as a sop to aging Baby Boomers. If they would ever bring out a "total" sound track without the "padding", I'd buy it in an instant - much like they did with "Forrest Gump". If you can "fast forward" through the Moldy Oldies, you will have a moving listening experience!
