About the Author

L. Scott Hansen received his Ph.D. in Applied Science and Technology from the University of Wyoming. He is currently the Department Chair of Engineering Technology and Construction Management and Associate Professor of Engineering Technology at Southern Utah University. He teaches freshman through senior-level courses in the CAD/CAM Engineering Technology program. In his spare time he has performed extensive design and fabrication work building and modifying automobiles, dune buggies, boats and motorcycles along with residential construction projects.
