    Great for business students

I can recommend this book for the following reasons: 1. it is based on Excel and shows you how to program Excel for business modelling, most similar books dont teach you that. 2. it is very well written and easy to understand. 3. it does not neglect the mathematical elements and formulas, which some books do. 4. the excercises are really useful. 5. it is mainly directed towards business modelling. 6. requires very little prior knowledge of calculus. The coverage is much the same as similar books on the topic such as Albright and Render, but I still prefer the current book over the above two for these reasons: Albright's book lack a mathematical and 'written' modelling treatment, Render's book won't teach you how to build/program models yourself.
