Richard S. Sharf served as Associate Professor of Individual and Family Studies and Psychology at the University of Delaware. For more than 30 years, he worked as a psychologist in the Center for Counseling and Student Development, doing therapy with university students until his retirement in 2005. Boring. Dull. Dry as burnt roast. Poorly laid out. Does not stick to topic, lots of jumping around. Poorly explained. No indepth information, just bits and pieces. Not worth the cost. Professors, get a different book. Students, run in the opposite direction from any class that uses this text. Yuck yuck yuck. This text should come with a case of No-Doz. The only reason I put even one star on the customer rating is because it is required to have something there. Other wise, NO stars.
