Do not spend your money on this book.

There are many other books that are a way more helpful and objective. This book does not apply to schools across the board, just 4 top schools. Save your money and check out the internet.

    Author Review

What is the purpose of this book? - The purpose of this book is to give the reader personal accounts of the application process to a Top Business school (MBA). This book is designed to supplement, not compete with, the existing ¿how to¿ books. What is the format? -The book includes 20 interviews of successful applicants to the MBA Programs of Northwestern, Harvard, Stanford, and Penn. These schools were selected because they represent the top schools in the nation. In this book, you will read first hand accounts from students of various backgrounds- including investment bankers, consultants, a small business owner, a military officer, a theater manager, a physician, an attorney and more. Prior to business school the students interviewed held positions in finance, marketing, consulting, human resources, non-profit, health services management, and high tech within the above industries. The interviewees discuss personal accounts of: their decision to apply to an MBA program; previous work experience; extracurricular activities; application school selection; GMAT issues; specific application information; essay approach and answers; and which school they chose to attend and why. Who is the target audience? -The target audience includes all people who are considering application or are currently applying to a competitive MBA program. The co-author Lara Letteau graduated from Kellogg in 1999. Thank you and good luck in the application process! Bryan Goss Lara Letteau, MBA
