A Must read for the Whole World

This is one individual's journey to divine love and a journey each of us is intended by the Creator to take. Thought has hidden the true purpose of life but this book uncovers the hidden purpose beautifully and poetically. This book must be read by the whole world!!

    One Essential Heart

In reading this book I am struck by an 'Of Course!' moment of remembering what we have always known--the search for happiness and success is inspired by one driving need--the longing for love. But then in the unraveling of the mystery of how we can have utterly forgotten this, my sense of wonder is only expanded as Guy Finley asks 'Is it possible that one could be born with only a place for a heart / An empty space that can do nothing but wait to be filled with that which has always belonged to you?' The answer as it is given to us throughout the book, in what can only be called a divine love letter, touches a place that I never knew existed. It was as if my heart had a heart and this book in its simple beauty of prose spoke directly to it. What an awesome and powerful book this is for any would-be 'Apprentice of the Heart.'

Apprentice of the Heart: Lessons in Life Only Love Can Teach

It's hard to believe what happens to you when you read this book. It seems as though when we grow up, or grow older we feel like we have to be able to go through life without feeling any pain. It's as though we put a shield up over our hearts, so when we get into any kind of situation that 'might ' make us feel something painful , this shield can protect us. Yet, all it really does is shut us off from the moment in which we could be experiencing what life is bringing us. In Guy Finley's book the Apprentice of the Heart, this shield is gently asked to be set down. When the words come off the page and into your heart, it's as if you cannot choose what you are going to feel, but you are going to feel something. Our hearts are intended to be open to all that life brings us and yet we are afraid, but this no longer need be the case for the reader. This spirit in which this book was written, will open up your heart to feel what love 'is', even though that may mean you'll also have to feel what love is not. I recommend it to any man, woman or child who has an ache in their heart for a Real & Unending, Relationship with 'Love'.
