Overview

This new anthology, including many previously unpublished articles, brings together Che Guevara's writings on philosophy and politics, revealing him as one of the great intellectuals and thinkers of the twentieth century. It includes the lists of his individual study program from his youth and his comments on the texts he was reading, right up to the time of his death.

Here Che makes astute, incisive, and often irreverent comments on writers from Aristotle to Louis Althusser, always within the framework of humanity's struggle for social justice. Published in association with the Che Guevara Studies Center in Havana, Cuba.
