All Music Guide - Steve Huey
Even before you hear the Aquabats' third album, its title -- The Aquabats Vs. the Floating Eye of Death! -- makes it clear that the group is up to its old tricks. The record kicks off in true Aquabats form with "Giant Robot Birdhead!," running through twelve crazed ska anthems in all with every title ending in an exclamation point. Sure, the humor is frothy and avoids substance like the plague, but anybody expecting anything else from a typical third-wave ska album is waging a pointless battle. Better to just hang on and enjoy the ride, because the Aquabats conduct that ride with a panache few other third-wavers can match, and their songwriting skills continue to improve ...

From A Lover Of CRAZY Senseless Stuff

I think that The Aquabats are the best because they act like superheros. Their songs (at least alot of them) have to do with saving the world and the lyrics are basically random words put to music. Even in concert, they have superhero costumes and just grab a bunch of non-musical friends to be villians. The Aquabats should be around FOREVER!!

    The Aquabats

This album is amazing. The Aquabats really come through even though they don't stick to thier horn-driven ska roots as much as they have in the past. Anyone in your family will think the songs are hilarious, and great sounding.
