    Good one to get started...

If you can already read and write Arabic, and you are military about to go to Iraq, then this a great book for you. It gives you key words you will need to know and understand while over there.

    Not a very good dictionary

The Modern Military Dictionary: English- Arabic\Arabic- English may provide The English and Arabic words for military items but fails to follow the basic idea of a dictionary which is to provide the phonetic pronunciation of the translated words. The small print does not even help with the arabic script. One cannot discern the symbols to at least determine the word.
