I've been trying to study the Arabic language now for 2 years, and have looked at and purchased a small number of dictionaries and grammar books to help me expand my vocabulary. However, they never really seemed to have exactly what I was looking for, until I came across the visual dictionary. I've found it hard to put down, since it's content is so varied and is so full of terms I never would have found anywhere else. What I especially like about it is the organization. Each subject area is distinctive and leaves no piece of information out -- additionally, the pictures makes it easy to find the exact word I'm looking for, with the written Arabic word listed underneath, along with the pronunciation, and finally the English translation, so there is no doubt, I'm getting the most benefit in my search for a word.
I can hardly wait until classes resume in the Fall, so I can show my Arabic instructor and classmates my new find!
