I have several of Doreen's oracle decks, and I enjoy using them; however, I am disappointed with the artwork used in the Archangel Power Tarot Cards. Many, if not most, of the cards contain photographs of Doreen, her family members, and others in her inner circle. While a few such images would have been a clever wink to those who recognize Doreen and company, the sheer number of them is distracting and disruptive. The deck comes across more like a high school yearbook celebrating the popular kids than a reinterpretation of the tarot. I pre-ordered this deck, but wish I had waited to see more images from the cards before I purchased it. I much prefer using the Angel Tarot Cards created by Doreen, Radleigh, and Steve A. Roberts.

First time buyer of Doreen's cards and I must say that I am very happy with my purchase. Cards are extremely beautiful and feel the answers to be rather accurate to the situation at hand. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I was very happy to purchase this item. It enables me to deepen my connection with Angels in a way that is fun, powerful, and insightful. The artwork is very beautiful and almost 3-dimensional. I feel that the ‘answers’ are accurate and specific. The text written on the cards makes I very easy to use right away with confidence if you are new to the tarot. The guidebook provides good descriptions for each suite, each Archangel, and each card. It also tells you how to insert positive energy into the cards, and describes 3 basic spreads.
The Suits are:
Instead of Wands it’s Archangel Gabriel
Instead of Cups it’s Archangel Raphael
Instead of Pentacles it’s Archangel Ariel
Instead of Swords it’s Archangel Michael
There are about 15 cards where it is a bit obvious that someone’s face has been ‘photoshoped’ into the artwork. However, I don’t feel that it takes away from the symbolism, or usability, or the purpose of what the cards are for. Doreen usually has meaningful and non-egotistical intentions behind everything that she does. I am very happy with my purchase, and I would highly recommend this item to anyone with an interest in tarot or Angels.
