About the Author

I’m a mother of four wonderful kids – aged twenty-five, eighteen, sixteen, and eight. In addition to caring for twelve infants and toddlers at my home-based daycare, I hold a Master’s degree in Education from Buffalo State College and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Saint Bonaventure University. During my time there, I was a proud member of the women’s swim team for four years.
After twelve years overseas in Amman, Jordan, I recently moved back to the United States with my family. In the challenging times of a difficult divorce after 22 years of marriage, archery has become my sanctuary. It offers not only a new skill to master but also a source of support for others facing life’s hurdles. Through this book, I aim to share how archery has provided me with personal time, empowerment, and a path to healing from a controlled and challenging past.
